The school was founded in 2008 when seminary students stationed in the Merger area found that the vast majority of children in this region did not have any opportunities for education. In the years since then, Institute of Grace has operated a primary school as part of its Merger Hospital complex for children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. The school enrolls, on average, 100 students each year.
